If I Could Only Have Three Aesthetic Treatments For The Rest Of My Life…
I've thought about this veeeery carefully.
If someone told me I could only ever have three aesthetic treatments again for the rest of my life… Well, I'd be devastated, obviously.
There are SO many treatments I love, and new ones seem to appear every five minutes at the moment. But if I really had to choose, these would be my three.
And actually, I think the list says quite a lot about how I approach aesthetics.
I'm not looking to completely change my face or freeze or smooth every area that has any sign of a line/dimple/texture. I want to look like myself… just a slightly more rested, supported and healthy-looking version (is that so much to ask?!).
So, without further ado and in no particular order...
1. A brow lift + Nefertiti neck lift
Technically Botox, but I'm cheating slightly and combining two treatments here.
These are two of my favourites because they can make quite a subtle difference without necessarily looking like you've had something done.
A brow lift works by treating specific muscles that pull the brow down, which can create a little more openness around the eyes and a subtle lift to the brow.
The Nefertiti neck lift takes a similar approach lower down, using anti-wrinkle injections to target the platysma muscles in the neck and jawline.
For me, it's about supporting and softening rather than dramatically changing anything.
I love treatments where someone might look at you and think “You look really good”, rather than “What have you had done?” and these two absolutely fall into that category.
2. Microneedling
This one was always going to make the list.
If I could only choose one treatment for my skin for the rest of my life, I'd probably choose microneedling. I love it that much.
It's incredibly versatile and can be used to target loooooads of different skin concerns, including texture, fine lines, uneven tone and overall skin quality.
The treatment creates tiny controlled injuries in the skin, stimulating the body's natural healing response and encouraging collagen production.
And one of the things I particularly love is that you can tailor it depending on what your skin needs.
You can combine microneedling with different serums, peptides or peels, depending on the treatment plan and what we're trying to achieve.
So rather than being a treatment that's just about one particular concern, it can be something you return to over time as your skin changes.
What’s not to love?
3. Dermal filler
Okay, I know what you're thinking.
“I thought you were all about natural results, Bianca?”
And I am! I promise.
That being said… I'm never going to pretend I don't enjoy a slightly enhanced lip.
And cheek filler would definitely make my top three too. Just a subtle little plumping, nothing nearing that ‘pillow-y’ look that people always think of when they hear ‘cheek filler’.
The thing I love about filler is that it doesn't have to mean adding loads of volume.
Used thoughtfully and sparingly, it can provide subtle support, restore volume that's changed over time and enhance areas that you already like.
For me, it's all about small amounts, good placement and knowing when to stop.
A slightly more defined lip. A little extra support through the cheeks. Tiny changes that can make a surprisingly big difference to the overall balance of the face.
And yes, full disclosure, I have had lip filler myself in the past! And I would absolutely have it again, when the time comes… Which is why you’re reading about it on this list.
So there you have it…
If I could only have three treatments forever:
Brow/Nefertiti lift.
Microneedling.
Dermal filler.
A combination of muscle relaxation, better skin quality and a little bit of strategic enhancement.
Which, when I think about it, is probably exactly how I'd describe my overall approach to aesthetics.
I don't want to change everything.
I want to understand what could be subtly improved, keep things balanced and natural, and make sure we're treating something because you want to… not because you've been convinced you need it.
And if you're wondering what my three would be for your face...
Well, that's what consultations are for. Give me a call!
